SERBIA ZIJIN COPPER DOO and Serbia Zijin Mining strive to promote the economic development of the Bor District, but also the sustainable development of all communities in Serbia. That is the slogan of this year\u2019s manifestation \u201cMining for a Better Society \u2013 Art Brings Communities Together\u201d, said <\/strong>Huang Han, who, on behalf of the organizers, greeted the participants of the art colony and wished them a pleasant stay in Bor, a great time, and inspiration. \u2013<\/strong> I brought a lot of broken, fine-grained glass because there is so much sun and light here, so I decided that the landscape I will make should be clear, full of light, air, and transparent fluid, said Professor Tomislav Todorovi\u0107<\/strong><\/p>\n BOR LAKE<\/strong>. \u2013 Bor Lake and Hotel \u201cJezero\u201d were four days (from July 17 to 20) the meeting place of painters and painting lovers from Serbia, who responded to the invitation of two Zijin companies to participate in the thematic art competition called \u201cZijin Art 2024\u201d. The art colony was organized to meet the Serbian Miners\u2019 Day, and this year it gathered 50 painters from Belgrade, Ni\u0161, Pan\u010devo, Negotin, Prokuplje, Leskovac, Para\u0107in, Zaje\u010dar, Bor, Majdanpek and \u017dagubica. All of them had the opportunity to immortalize on canvas, using the technique of their choice, the picturesque landscapes of Bor, Majdanpek, and Bor Lake on two given topics. The first was connected with the development of the green mining industry in Bor and Majdanpek, including the landscapes of mines, mining equipment, facilities, miners, etc., while the other included the landscapes of Bor and Majdanpek, the characteristic architecture, as well as the motives from the history and culture.<\/p>\n \u2013SERBIA ZIJIN COPPER DOO and Serbia Zijin Mining strive to promote the economic development of the Bor District, but also the sustainable development of all communities in Serbia. I\u2019m glad that a colony of this type is happening \u201cin my yard\u201d and that\u2019s why I\u2019m here again. Last year, I also painted the landscape of Majdanpek, and this time I will too <\/strong>\u2013 said Tatjana Karaba\u0161evi\u0107.<\/p>\n A retired professor from the Academy of Arts \u2013 Novi Sad Tomislav Todorovi\u0107<\/strong>, has been active on the Serbian art scene for over four decades. He says that he participated in the work of 43 art colonies, and this year he decided to join the \u201cZijin Art\u201d colony as well.<\/p>\n \u2013 I brought a lot of broken, fine-grained glass because there is so much sun and light here, so I decided that the landscape I will make should be clear, full of light, air, and transparent fluid. Light, greenery, and warmth are inspiring and make people content and happy <\/strong>\u2013 said Tomislav Todorovi\u0107, known to the citizens of Bor for the numerous sculptures he bequeathed to them. One of them, \u201cAdam and Eve\u201d, still adorns the hall of the Hotel \u201cJezero\u201d to this day.<\/p>\n The works created during the art colony will remain the property of two of Zijin companies, which will organize an exhibition of paintings from August 2 to 10 at the Hotel \u201cJezero\u201d. On Serbian Miners\u2019 Day, August 6, the authors of the awarded works will be presented with cash prizes.<\/p>\n The prize fund amounts to EUR 4,100 in RSD equivalent, and one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and 10 incentive prizes will be awarded. The first prize is EUR 1,000, the second prize is EUR 600, the third prize is EUR 300, and the incentive prize is EUR 100.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
